Welcome to my new blog! I’ve imported some of my more recent posts from its previous incarnation on MySpace (if you’d like to read my blog posts from August 2006 through October 2007, you’ll need to dig in over there).

There were a few reasons for making the change, namely I wanted to be able to post some of my session pictures without MySpace deleting them. Now that I’m here, there are other advantages, like searchable posts, more link options, a sexier layout, and easier commenting.

I especially hope you’ll take advantage of the commenting option. I’m going to be spending less time on various discussion boards (such as MaxFisch) but I still have lots of stuff I want to talk about! So this is going to be the place where I’ll be posting most of my musings on BDSM and even responses to stuff I’ve read elsewhere. Writers need readers though, so let me know you’re out there and leave a comment! I’ll probably respond, too!

Speaking of MaxFisch, you’ll notice over to the left a section for links to some of my favorite posts from my time on The Hang. If you’ve got a favorite, or one that you think is exemplary, informative, or otherwise worth highlighting (it doesn’t have to be one of mine, either), please let me know in the comments section with a link and I’ll consider adding it to the list. Thanks!

I hope you enjoy the new blog. I’m hoping to post fairly frequently, so check back often. You can also add me to your RSS feed so you can be updated automatically. There will probably be more changes to the look and styling of the site in the near future, but in the meantime, have fun!

  • Thanks, Jack! There are still a few, uh, kinks to work out`but it’ll do the trick for now. In the meantime, don’t forget to let me know about your favorite MF posts.

  • Congratulations, Miss Orleans. Your new blog looks sexy, classy, clever, appealing. Like you, actually. So delighted, yes. Surprised, no.
Why is it then that, when I read that you feel good, I get this “ouch” feeling?
Why is it then that, when your blog prompts me to write the letters displayed on the screen in order to avoid theft, the letters “spontaneously” form the word “pain”?

  • Miss Orleans,
    Congratulations on the new blog!
As for my favorite MF posts – well, one that stuck in my mind is the one in the thread about “Mistress Devin’s Jerry Springer Decision”. It was your comment: “Honey, you couldn’t get me to pi$$ on you for $100.”
    Excellent!

  • Philber, I can assure you I have no special arrangement with the random letter generators. Things just tend to happen as they should. Glad you like the new look. 😉

  • To get where one wants to go one has to have been where one has been and indeed have had the experiences one has had on the way. This you have undoubtedly been through. You’ve floated to the top not through the dynamics of physics, but a through a commitment to quality and personnal honesty. The truth will always ‘out’ Troy and yours is most definitely ‘out’. Long may it continue and long may your enthusiasm for your chosen world/profession endure. You’re intelligent enough to know how far to take it and how long you choose to enjoy your current ‘calling’ for that is what I’d name it.

  • Miss Orleans,

I’ve always enjoyed your writing as I have seen it on MF, so I am very much looking forward to following as you build your blog here.

    Thanks,
    Tara

  • Kudos on the new blog 🙂

And I’m jealous of philber’s word… I got zmewbly… pain seems much sexier than zmewbly – which sounds like a Seussian word.

  • Miss Orleans,

Wow!! Great new setup. Just another reason to spend more time visiting your site!! Congratulations. I am thrilled that there will still be a forum for your strong, intelligent and witty voice to be heard. It means a lot to so many of us.
