Part of the reason I’ve loved Extreme Restraints over the years is that I’ve been able to find good deals on products that seem to cost much more elsewhere. It’s one thing, though, to get a deal on some lube or other commercial item and quite another when the low prices are the result of ripping off an artisan’s work and having it cheaply mass produced elsewhere.

Seems that’s what XR’s been doing lately. I do not approve.

I am so sick of buying made in “china” and that goes well beyond bondage gear. Can’t say though that what XR is doing is “wrong” though. It’s a business decision and if their customers want cheap/cheaper toys, it’s their right to provide the “right” offering. This assumes of course that they’re not misrepresenting that it’s still the other manufacturer making the stuff and it looks like they are- that is wrong. Funny, it looks like the manufacturer has good product, just weak distribution channel- perhaps overly dependent on XR in past.
