I do love airport code.

Here’s what I have happening so far:

Boston: Feb 19-21

Chicago: Mar 1-2

New Orleans: Mar 9-14

Atlanta: April 12-13

All of these dates are confirmed.

I’m sorry I haven’t been posting more narrative stuff of late. When I’m not at the studio, I’ve been devoting all my energy and attention to redecorating my apartment. It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for almost three years but Salon d’Orleans has always taken precedence. Until now.

Paint. Furniture. Purging (40+ pairs of shoes and five large boxes of clothes went to Housing Works). There’s still more to be done but already every day I wake up and am just amazed. It’s quite the sanctuary.

Also, I signed up for this thing called Formspring. http://www.formspring.me/TroyOrleans

You can ask me pretty much anything there. More interesting is that it’s anonymous so if there’s something you’ve always wanted to know about me but are unsure about asking me face to face …. now you don’t have to! Go on. Give it a try. It’s fun for everyone.

  • Considering some of the scenes your shoes have seen, you could have auctioned them off for charity…or bought a few new items for the redecoration.

    • Actually, I’m nearly always barefoot when I play. Though my shoes have certainly seen plenty on the streets of New York!

I did set aside a few pairs to sell. Mostly fancy label shoes that hadn’t really been worn much. I’m supposed to be selling them on EBay or at a consignment shop such as Ina. But I gotta get around to it. Sigh. Actually this home purging thing really made me wish I had a houseboy to delegate Craigslist, Ebay, donation duties to. I would have made a lot of money.
